While vintage designs tied intensity to LFO speed and BBD delay time, the WA-C1 Mod adds independent depth control for everything from subtle modulation to lush, sweeping chorus. The Vintage/Modern switch engages or bypasses the analog preamp for classic vintage character or cleaner, more modern chorus tones. Engaging Hi-Z shifts the character from 70s warmth to a brighter 80s color with added upper-mids and treble, while the High input sensitivity setting adds headroom and clarity. A flashing LED provides visual effect and modulation-rate monitoring. WA-C1 Mod is 100% analog and built with premium components, including a premium Xvive MN3007 BBD chip. Compared to the WA-C1, the WA-C1 Mod adds top-mounted jacks and a vintage/modern switch that makes the vintage preamp bypassable.
