Orders & Product Information
Mooloolaba Music reserves the right to cancel any order prior to delivery where necessary, including where:
- A supplier cannot provide the ordered item
- An event outside our control delays supply (including natural disasters, power outages, strikes or system failures)
- A pricing, specification, description or image error has occurred on our website
We work hard to keep product information accurate and up to date. However, manufacturer specifications, pricing and availability may change without notice.
Returns & Consumer Guarantees
Under Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if a product:
- Is faulty
- Is significantly different from its description
- Does not perform as intended
To request a return, please contact us with your:
- Name
- Invoice number
- Product name
- Reason for return
- Preferred resolution (replacement, exchange, refund or store credit)
Unless an item is faulty, damaged in transit, or dead on arrival, return freight costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Approved returns may incur a 20% restocking fee.
Change-of-mind purchases are not eligible for refunds, exchanges or store credit, in line with ACCC guidelines. Please choose carefully and research products before purchasing.
Proof of purchase is required for all returns and warranty claims.
Sale Items
Sale, clearance, display and promotional items (including Black Friday and Boxing Day sales) may be sold “as is” and could include the last available stock or display models.
We are happy to provide photos of any item prior to purchase. Standard warranty and Australian Consumer Law protections still apply.
Print Music Returns
Due to copyright restrictions, we do not accept returns or offer refunds, exchanges or store credit on print music purchases.
Order Cancellations
Approved order, layby or web order cancellations may incur:
- A $15 administration fee
- A 20% restocking fee
These fees help cover labour, stock allocation and lost sales opportunities.
Please ensure all purchases are made carefully, as change-of-mind cancellations are not automatically eligible for refund or credit.
Gift Cards & Vouchers
Gift cards and vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase and are not redeemable for cash.
Spare Parts
Please research spare parts carefully before purchasing. Compatibility and installation requirements can vary, particularly with aftermarket or non-licensed parts.
Professional installation may be required for some items. If you are unsure, our team is happy to help confirm suitability before purchase.
Goods Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery so we can assist promptly.
Where applicable, we may arrange a replacement, repair or store credit.
To help with freight claims, we recommend:
- Inspecting packaging carefully upon delivery
- Noting any visible damage with the courier before signing
- Taking photos of any damage immediately
- Keeping all original packaging where possible
Additional freight insurance is available at checkout for extra peace of mind, especially for remote deliveries.
If a return is required, we will assist with arranging courier collection and provide tracking details.
Lay-By Terms & Conditions

Minimum Value - Lay-by is available on purchases of $100 or more

Deposit - A 20% non-refundable deposit is required for each new lay-by

Term – Lay-by is available on a 8 week term and must be paid in full and collected by the finalisation date.

Payments – Payments can either be made instore, online by direct deposit, or over the phone.

Termination & Fees – Failure to finalise the payment in full by due date will automatically cause termination of layby & incur non refundable restocking fee of 20% of the item sale price (ie. initial deposit will be forfeited).

Due to on-going price changes and updates, items with a further sale on them (ie. Black Friday, EOFY sales) are not eligible for lay-by
