Mooloolaba Music is proud to introduce the Unika Pro 3SP Passive Triple Isolated Line Splitter. The Pro 3SP a remarkable solution for handling line level and microphone signals. This passive signal splitter offers one input and three outputs without the hassle of batteries or phantom power requirements.
The PRO 3SP is designed for effectively distributing LINE signals to three distinct destinations, with two outputs featuring isolation transformers. This crucial feature safeguards against potential differences arising from various power sources, preventing equipment damage due to leakage. The remaining output, however, is tailored for near-end devices and does not employ an isolation transformer.
Equipped with dual UNiKA-PROTM EI9AE3R3 1.25:1 isolation transformers, the PRO 3SP boasts a unique copper foil layer and a dedicated ground layer, ensuring it delivers pristine sound quality with high signal-to-noise ratios while minimizing the risks of leakage attributed to radio frequency interference, ground issues, and potential differences. This versatility makes it an excellent choice for recording studios, live performances, and fixed installations.
The input features XLR balanced sockets specifically designed to accommodate LINE signal inputs, while the MONITOR output provides parallel output devoid of isolation transformers. Each of the CH-1/CH-2 output channels is serviced by its own UNiKA-PRO isolation transformer and has a shared GND/LIFT switch, simplifying connections to remote power sources and effectively reducing leakage and noise due to ground loops or potential differences.
For high-impedance signal sources, such as musical instruments or certain playback devices, it is advisable to utilize other DIs from the PRO series equipped with input attenuators, which also include the EI9AE3R3 professional audio isolation transformer.
