With one side featuring a custom-tuned Revv high gain amp tone and the other paying homage to the celebrated HM-2*, the blend knob allows you to choose the perfect mix from an entirely amp-driven sound to an all-out chainsaw tone. This remarkable flexibility enables you to transform a clean channel into a furious metal beast or to elevate your high gain amp with the Chainsaw circuit for an added edge.

The Versatile Package
Introducing the Northern Mauler, a revolutionary pedal that combines two complete circuits in one versatile package. Featuring a meticulously crafted Amp circuit that incorporates Revv amp tones, specifically tweaked for metal enthusiasts, and a Chainsaw circuit designed to unleash frostbitten mayhem, this pedal invites you to explore sound like never before. While each circuit can stand alone, the true magic lies in the Blend knob, allowing you to dial in your ideal high gain tone and seamlessly introduce the chaotic grind of the Chainsaw circuit to create your signature sound.
The Technicals
The Northern Mauler integrates two distinct circuits—Chainsaw and Amp—unified by the innovative Blend knob. Setting the Blend knob to noon delivers an equal mix of both tones, while global controls for Volume and Giv’r (that’s Canadian for “Gain”) ensure simplicity in operation. Each circuit features independent controls on the left and right, giving you the freedom to craft your tone. If you want to elevate the output of a high gain amp, simply turn the Blend fully to the left to focus on the Chainsaw circuit for a powerful boost.
