The Revv G8 Noise Gate offers a straightforward, zero-compromise way to gain control over unwanted noise in your setup. Noise can arise from various sources—your environment, guitar, amplifier, pedals, and other equipment along the signal path. This unwanted sound can interfere with your music, both during live performances and in the studio. We all want to eliminate the noise but often settle for subpar solutions. That’s why we developed a versatile noise gate that can silence your rig without compromising audio quality. The G8 allows you to carve out those crisp metal rhythms when necessary, while most importantly preserving the true character of your guitar tone. You’ll enjoy the same feel and sound as before, just without the distraction of noise.

The creation of the G8 was influenced by the frustrations many guitarists experienced with existing noise gates, which were often difficult to adjust or detrimental to tone. Additionally, some of the best noise gate options were frequently unavailable due to component shortages. Our design process revolved around the Generator 120 MK3's gate, ensuring that we utilized our proprietary circuit that isn’t affected by supply chain constraints. With added controls for precise gating adjustments, the G8 stands out as our sole buffered pedal, delivering reliable performance across various 4-cable configurations.
