Description

Key of G

The Lee Oskar Melody Maker, with it’s three altered notes, is great for playing major scale melodies.

Lee Oskar Melody Makers are designed to be played in cross harp (draw), not straight harp (blow).
In cross harp, melodies can be played with an expressive, fluid style that is extremely difficult to achieve in straight harp.

Lee Oskar Melody Makers are the best harmonicas available for playing SINGLE-NOTE MELODIES.
They're great for playing Country, Pop, R&B, Jazz, Folk & Standards.
This tuning makes it easier to play many songs...that can be difficult, or impossible, to play on a standard Major Diatonic...IN CROSS HARP.
All of the notes that were missing on the Major Diatonic are right there on the Melody Maker!

Incredible For Playing Melodies In Cross Harp!

These harmonicas provide a complete major scale, in cross harp, for playing exact melody without bending. Yet, the draw notes can still be bent for that bluesy feeling!

BLUE LABEL
Available in 9 Keys (Listed low to high):
C, D, E, Eb, F, G, A, Bb, High C

Comparison:

Major Diatonics are key-labeled in 1st Position.

The Major Diatonic lacks the flatted notes which are needed to play the Minor scales and chords used in the traditional folk songs of many cultures.

Melody Makersâ„¢ are key-labeled in 2nd Position.

This makes it easy to know which key of Melody Makerâ„¢ to use.

To play music in the key of G, in 2nd Position, use a G Melody Makerâ„¢. It's that simple! G for G. The chart below shows the notes that have been altered from a Major Diatonic, allowing you to play melodies easily in 2nd Position.

Melody Makersâ„¢ provide a complete Major Scale as shown.

Although the cover plates are stamped with a variety of different names for marketing purposes, all of these harmonicas are quality.

The most important difference is in the quality of materials, construction, design and sound. Lee Oskars are the best harmonicas in the world, and that's not just our opinion.

All over the world, professional players prefer Lee Oskar Harps over any other brand.
