As a key member of the Fifth Generation of KRK ROKIT Studio Monitors—which also includes the ROKIT 5 Generation Five and the ROKIT 8 Generation Five—these speakers utilize integrated DSP technology to deliver three unique Voicing Modes. You can utilize Mix Mode for a flat frequency and phase response, which is ideal for mastering, mixing, and detailed listening, or switch to Create Mode, a more inspiring voicing tailored for producing, writing, and casual enjoyment. Additionally, Focus Mode provides a mid-focused sound designed for the critical evaluation of the midrange band, where the majority of instruments and vocals possess their primary energy. By consolidating these three configurations, you essentially gain the utility of three separate monitor sets within a single pair. To further enhance your performance, the ROKIT 7 Generation Five includes 25 boundary and tuning EQ settings to assist in correcting and reducing complications caused by your specific acoustic space, while the free KRK App ensures that configuring your recording environment remains both straightforward and exact.
The ROKIT 7 Generation Five is fitted with a 7” woven Kevlar® aramid fiber cone woofer for superior damping and modal breakup control. The 1” tweeter benefits from a highly damped acoustic silk dome diaphragm to smoothly extend the frequency range up to 40 kHz. For maximum transient response and dynamics reproduction, bi-amplified Class D power amplifiers drive the transducers evenly and more efficiently at reduced operating temperatures to ensure audio integrity during long work sessions.
