The ES-335 50s showcases a semi-hollow thinline body built from three-ply maple, poplar, and maple. A solid maple center block enhances the sustain and significantly diminishes feedback, ensuring a rich, resonant sound. To further its aesthetic appeal, the body is elegantly framed with single-ply cream binding on both the top and back.

In keeping with the design of the early ES-335 models, the mahogany neck features a robust Rounded C profile, offering a gratifyingly solid feel. The bound rosewood fretboard is fitted with 22 medium jumbo frets, highlighted by straightforward acrylic dot inlays reminiscent of the classic “dot neck” models. The headstock boasts Vintage Deluxe tuners with keystone buttons, which, alongside the Graph Tech nut, ensure stable tuning. Additionally, the headstock is embellished with a mother-of-pearl Gibson logo and crown inlay.
