While this bass retains the unmistakable appeal of a classic Fender, its internal design is meticulously crafted for the requirements of modern musicians. The neck provides an exceptionally fast and fluid playing experience, highlighted by a Modern “C”-profile finished with a silky satin urethane on the rear, paired with a comfortable 9.5”-radius slab fingerboard—available in rosewood or maple—featuring smoothly rolled edges and 20 medium jumbo frets. You can choose from a traditional alder body finished in either heritage Fender colors or brand-new hues recovered from the company archives. The instrument’s Player Series Alnico V Single-Coil J Bass® pickups deliver a versatile sound characterized by sweet highs, aggressive mids, and powerful lows that enhance any style of music. Furthermore, the inclusion of an adjustable 4-saddle bridge with single-groove steel saddles and reliable open-gear tuners guarantees consistent tuning stability, providing you the freedom to investigate a vast range of sonic textures.
