High-end attributes like stainless steel frets, compound-radius fingerboards, and ergonomic neck profiles establish these guitars as an advanced selection for every dedicated guitarist.

The Gibson Firebird stands as a definitive and easily identifiable silhouette in the realm of electric guitars. Drawing from the vision of automotive designer Ray Dietrich, the instrument’s daring design was influenced by Gibson Explorer aesthetics and vintage car styling. Epiphone now presents the Futura Firebird Custom, a contemporary reimagining of a design that broke new ground upon its 1963 arrival. This instrument boasts a sculpted mahogany body, highlighted by refined 7-ply top binding and a contoured back designed for better comfort. Reliability is maintained through a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge, a LockTone Stop Bar tailpiece for consistent sustain and intonation, and Posi-Lok strap buttons that secure your strap without the need for additional accessories.

The mahogany neck is glued into the body and features a Modern C profile built for speed, topped with an ebony fingerboard. This board is adorned with 22 medium jumbo stainless steel frets and eye-catching pearloid split block inlays in the style of the Super 400. To facilitate easy bending and fluid chording, the neck utilizes a 10”-14” compound radius. The Reverse Firebird headstock is bound and equipped with a Graph Tech nut, a truss rod cover marked with the Epiphone logo, and locking Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners.

Equipped with a set of Epiphone’s latest ProBucker Ignite humbuckers, the Futura Firebird Custom produces an articulate, punchy tone with significant headroom. Users can access a broad range of sounds through push/pull volume and tone knobs that engage phase and coil-splitting options. Offered in three distinctive Chromashift finishes—Midnight Ember Shift, Firestorm Shift, and Quicksilver Shift—this model is engineered to be a visual standout on camera or on stage. The Futura Firebird Custom provides the perfect solution for anyone seeking a pro-grade instrument with a modern look and diverse tonal options. Every guitar comes with a premium gig bag, ensuring the instrument is ready for wherever your creative process leads.
