“When I think of art, I see both the visual and the aural as equally important, with one bolstering the other,” says Adam Jones, who selected the seven striking artworks beautifully reproduced on the backs of these guitars. The Epiphone Les Paul Customs are finished in Antique Silverburst, as an homage to Adam’s original 1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom.

For this unprecedented collection, Adam curated works by artists Mark Ryden, Frank Frazetta, Julie Heffernan, Korin Faught, and Ernst Fuchs. Epiphone will make only 800 of each model for this extremely limited-edition run.

The third model released through the Adam Jones Les Paul Custom Art Collection features Julie Heffernan’s delicate, lush “Study for Self-Portrait with Rose Skirt and a Mouse.”

Julie Heffernan’s paintings have been described by The New Yorker magazine as “ironic rococo surrealism with a social-satirical twist.” Her portraiture reflects on environmental, art historical, feminist, literary, social, and political subjects.

Each limited-edition guitar comes with a marquee back plate showing the name of the artist and artwork, a headstocks featuring an additional design by artist Korin Faught, and a Protector hardshell case.
