This set delivers a solid bass response complemented by a dynamic, woody character, all wrapped in a fantastic snap in the high-end that can elevate your playing to new heights.

The Mother's Milk single coils expertly blend the larger diameter Alnico V magnetic rod from the late '50s with the introduction of 42AWG plain enamel wound coils, a hallmark of the CBS era at Fender. The hand-bevelled magnets and scatter-wound coils work harmoniously to produce a tighter, deeper bottom end alongside clear, full highs that truly sing when overdriven, never allowing for a thin or brittle tone. The mid-range remains hollow and woody, offering a bit more grit and edge compared to Heavy Formvar wound coils, which results in a crisp clean tone and a distinctive blues rock voice. Each bridge coil is wound slightly hotter to ensure an improved balance, and as with all Strat sets, the standard vintage cloth 'push back' hookup is included, along with the option for either stock or RWRP mid-coil configurations.
