With an Engelmann spruce top to set it apart from its Legacy Collection siblings, this stunningly appointed Grand Auditorium combines the genre-hopping versatility of our signature body shape with the time-honored sonic character of the rosewood/spruce tonewood pairing. Together with classic X-bracing, that combination yields a balanced voice with warm lows and clear, articulate trebles, also benefiting from the tonal maturity and slightly richer midrange of Engelmann spruce. A modern Taylor neck profile ensures relaxed, easy fretting for any playing style.

Visually, this model reflects its original position in our 900 Series, featuring Indian rosewood binding with green abalone top purfling, a green abalone rosette, gold hardware, a full-body gloss finish with a satin-finished neck, and classic Cindy fretboard and peghead inlays in mother-of-pearl and green abalone.
