Vox

Why buy a Vox amp or Pedals?

Get this.

Vox grew in popularity along with british band 'The Shadows' around 1959. The Shadows wanted more power and Vox was losing out to amp brands like Fender that offered more grunt.

Vox introduced the AC30 in 1959 to meet this demand.

The AC30, using magnets and valves/tubes helped define the sound of bands like The Beatles and the Brish Invasion.

Yeah, the Rolling Stones should get mentioned here along with Queens Brain May, who we know for having a small wall of VOX amps on stage.

The Beatles had crowds of screaming fans they had to be louder than. These fanatic girls drove Vox to produce more booming amps. They ended up producing a range of amps for the Beatles different needs.

The AC30 still leads the charge today with a series of options including a hand wired alnico (magnet-equipped) Celestion blue speakers amp.

Vox has done well to hold the vintage look, and they have produced a range of pedals to the same fame making quality of its amps.

At MMC, we're an authorised supplier of Vox amps and pedals. We're capable or sourcing unique items so if there is something you can't find here contact us to see what we can do for you.
